STOCKS | SK Group Chairman Says Kioxia Cooperation Is an Option

According to Sina Finance, media reports from a Tuesday interview said SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won described joint production with Kioxia Holdings as one cooperation option the two chip companies could consider. He said SK Hynix is considering building a factory in Japan and added that the two companies could cooperate in joint production, research and development, and supply chains. He also said SK Hynix may reduce its indirect stake in Kioxia if the two sides cannot find a workable cooperation model.
