European Central Bank Must Be Cautious of Economic Growth Risks, Says Governing Council Member

According to Odaily, European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member François Villeroy de Galhau emphasized the need for the ECB to remain vigilant about the risks of insufficient economic growth. He stated that market expectations for interest rates to be in the 2%-2.5% range by 2025 are reasonable. Villeroy also noted that a rate cut in September was a correct and prudent decision.
