Bitwise CIO Predicts Decrease In Crypto Fraud With New Regulatory Policies

According to Odaily, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan expressed on X that the appointment of AI and cryptocurrency 'czar' David Sacks by former President Trump is expected to lead to a significant reduction in fraud and misconduct in the crypto industry over the next four years. Hougan believes that previous enforcement-focused regulatory approaches have inadvertently increased risks for investors. Sacks has previously stated that the digital asset task force will work on establishing market structure regulations, a stablecoin regulatory framework, and evaluating national digital asset reserves.
