Ethereum's Historical Trends Suggest Potential February and March Gains

According to Odaily, futures trader CoinMamba shared on X that Ethereum (ETH) has experienced a 6.7% decline this month, dropping from a high of $3,400 on January 1 to an intraday low of $3,170 on January 27, based on CoinGecko data. However, historical data indicates that February and March are typically favorable months for ETH. CoinGlass data reveals that ETH has only seen a decline in February once, in 2018, when it had surged by 50% in January. CoinMamba noted, "Overall, February and March are very bullish months for ETH." Over the past six years, ETH has consistently risen in February, with the largest increase occurring in 2024, when it climbed from $2,280 to $3,380 by the end of the month, marking a gain of over 46%. Historically, March has also been a positive month for ETH, with gains in seven out of the past nine years, while April has seen consecutive increases for six years.
