Iranian National Accused of Founding Dark Web Market Nemesis

According to Foresight News, the U.S. Public Affairs Office has charged Iranian national Behrouz Parsarad with being the founder and operator of the dark web marketplace Nemesis Market. The indictment also accuses Parsarad of providing money laundering services by mixing cryptocurrencies used for purchasing goods and services to obscure their origins. If convicted, Parsarad faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison, with the possibility of a life sentence.
