According to PANews, South Korea's Presidential Policy Planning Committee recently convened with financial regulatory bodies to discuss the conditions and regulatory framework for issuing stablecoins denominated in the Korean won. The committee's virtual asset task force received additional reports from regulatory agencies, focusing on key issues such as capital requirements for issuers.
