This decision is not related to employee performance but is driven purely by cost considerations. Shapovalov emphasized that while making such a decision during a market upswing may seem counterintuitive, it underscores their commitment to sustainable growth, operational focus, and alignment with the interests of LDO token holders. Lido is planning for development over the coming decades, and this adjustment is intended to strengthen that foundation.
