EMURGO to Cease Delegation of Genesis ADA to Community DReps

According to Foresight News, Cardano developer EMURGO has announced its decision to halt the delegation of Genesis ADA to seven community DRep representatives. This move aims to enhance inclusivity and fairness within Cardano's governance framework. Previously, EMURGO had already ceased delegating Genesis ADA to its own DRep representatives. The decision comes in response to community feedback, including concerns raised during discussions at Rare Evo regarding EMURGO's use of Genesis ADA delegation. The removal of delegation will take effect after the transition from Epoch 576 to Epoch 577, ensuring that treasury proposals remain unaffected.
