Impact of Wealth Transfer on Bitcoin Explored in New Report

According to PANews, a recent report by private bank Xapo Bank titled "The Impact of Massive Wealth Transfer on Bitcoin" reveals that an estimated $84 trillion in assets is expected to be transferred globally from the Baby Boomer generation to younger generations. In the United States, $10.6 trillion will be inherited, while Europe and Asia will see transfers of $3.5 trillion and $2.8 trillion, respectively. The report highlights that Millennials and Generation X are more receptive to digital assets, with projections indicating that between $160 billion and $225 billion could flow into the cryptocurrency market over the next two decades. This would result in a daily incremental buying volume of approximately $20 million to $28 million. Xapo Bank's report suggests that the demand for Bitcoin as a long-term wealth storage tool will enhance market liquidity, reduce volatility, and promote regulatory and institutional acceptance. Additionally, Xapo has introduced a Bitcoin inheritance feature, offering clients a digital asset legacy solution to facilitate the use of Bitcoin in multi-generational wealth management.
