GEOPOLITICS | U.S. Military Begins Withdrawal from Syrian Bases

On February 21, reports indicate that the U.S. military has commenced its withdrawal from the Kasruk military base in Syria's northeastern Hasakah province. According to Jin10, several U.S. officials have previously stated that the military has recently completed its withdrawal from the Tanf military base near the Jordanian and Iraqi borders, as well as the Shaddadi military base in northeastern Syria. The withdrawal from remaining bases in Syria is expected to occur within the next two months.
