UK and US Form Transatlantic Future Markets Task Force

The UK Treasury announced on Monday the formation of a "Transatlantic Future Markets Task Force" with the U.S. government. According to ChainCatcher, the initiative aims to streamline procedures for businesses entering the capital markets of both countries and enhance cooperation in the crypto asset sector. The task force is expected to deliver a report within 180 days, exploring short-term improvements and long-term options, particularly in the wholesale digital markets. This move has been approved by UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant. The task force will be co-chaired by officials from both countries' finance ministries and will include participation from regulatory agencies.
