Tether has co-led a $7.5 million funding round in Utexo, a startup focused on developing infrastructure for USDT payments on the Bitcoin network. According to NS3.AI, Tether emphasizes that Bitcoin is integral to its long-term vision for USDT. Utexo aims to fill the gap in infrastructure needed for Bitcoin-based stablecoin payments, leveraging the security of the Bitcoin network. Settlement fees for these transactions will be paid in USDT.
