Binance to List Katana (KAT) with New Spot Trading Pairs

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is set to list Katana (KAT) and open trading for new spot trading pairs on 2026-03-18 at 13:00 (UTC). The new pairs include KAT/USDT, KAT/USDC, and KAT/TRY. Users can begin depositing KAT one hour before trading starts, with withdrawals available from 2026-03-19 at 13:00 (UTC). The listing fee for Katana is set at 0 BNB. Additionally, 150,000,000 KAT will be allocated for future marketing campaigns, with further details to be announced separately. KAT will initially be available on Binance Alpha, but once spot trading commences, it will no longer be showcased there, and its trading volume will not contribute to Binance Alpha Points. For Binance Alpha users, key highlights include the ability to transfer KAT from Binance Alpha Accounts to Spot Accounts 15 minutes before spot trading begins. KAT will be delisted from Binance Alpha upon the opening of spot trading on Binance Spot. Users can still view their KAT balance on Binance Alpha Accounts and transfer them to Spot Accounts for continued trading. Binance will facilitate the transfer of KAT from users’ Binance Alpha Accounts to Spot Accounts within 24 hours. Binance Alpha serves as a pre-listing token selection pool, and once a project is listed on Binance Spot, it will no longer be showcased on Binance Alpha. Spot Algo Orders will be enabled for the new pairs at 2026-03-18 13:00 (UTC), with Trading Bots & Spot Copy Trading activated within 24 hours of listing. Users can include pairs in their Spot Copy Trading portfolios by adjusting the [Personal Pair Preference] section. Katana is a DeFi-focused blockchain aimed at providing deep liquidity and native yield. It is marked with a Seed Tag, indicating higher volatility and risk. Users must pass quizzes every 90 days to trade tokens with Seed Tags, ensuring awareness of associated risks. Trading eligibility is subject to regional restrictions, with certain countries unable to participate. The list of restricted countries may change due to legal and regulatory updates.
