Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated on March 16 that a ceasefire is only reasonable if it ensures no further conflict. According to Jin10, Ghalibaf emphasized that a ceasefire should not provide the enemy with an opportunity to resolve issues such as radar destruction or missile shortages, only to attack again. He asserted that Iran will continue to fight until the enemy truly regrets its actions and favorable political and security conditions are established globally and regionally.
Ghalibaf also mentioned that Iran is prepared for a prolonged conflict. He expressed skepticism about U.S. claims of destroying Iran's offensive capabilities, noting that Iran possesses ample missile and drone reserves. Due to its mastery of indigenous technology, Iran can produce these resources more efficiently and at a lower cost than its adversaries.
