Algorand Foundation and Algorand Technologies Reach Agreement on IP and Protocol Development

Algorand Foundation and Algorand Technologies have announced an agreement to integrate Algorand Technologies' intellectual property and the development and support activities of the Algorand protocol into the Algorand Foundation. According to ChainCatcher, this move aims to streamline operations and enhance the protocol's development. To support Algorand Technologies, Silvio Micali, and the Algorand Foundation in maintaining and supporting the Algorand protocol, the foundation has committed to investing at least $15 million. This investment will be directed towards the technical maintenance, enhancement, and support of the Algorand protocol.
