SEC Waives Waiting Period for Bitcoin and Ether ETF Options on NYSE

The New York Stock Exchange Arca and NYSE American have lifted the 25,000-contract position and exercise limits on options linked to 11 spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs. According to NS3.AI, this adjustment has been implemented across major U.S. exchanges. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) expedited the process by waiving the standard 30-day waiting period, allowing the filings to take effect immediately. Additionally, these products can now be traded as FLEX options, offering customized strike prices and expiration dates.
