Iranian Parliament Committee Approves Strait of Hormuz Toll Plan

Iran's semi-official media, Fars News Agency, reports that an Iranian parliamentary committee has approved a plan to impose tolls on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. According to Ming Pao, the plan includes a ban on vessels from the United States and Israel, as well as ships from other countries that have sanctioned Iran. Agence France-Presse reports that Iran's state television has announced the new toll system and stated that Iran will collaborate with Oman to implement it.
