Polygon Labs Head Discusses Bridge Operations Post-KelpDAO Exploit

Polygon Labs Head of Product John Egan highlighted the resilience of Agglayer's proof-based bridge design following the KelpDAO exploit, which resulted in the draining of $292 million of rsETH. According to NS3.AI, Egan noted that despite the hack, Polygon PoS and Agglayer bridges continued to process approximately $200 million. Meanwhile, Aave experienced significant activity with $6.6 billion in withdrawals, and several protocols opted to pause related markets or bridges in response to the incident.
