He declared that this "betrayal is over." Trump stated that his administration is strengthening "Made in America" laws, closing exemption loopholes, and prohibiting federal procurement of foreign products when quality American options are available. He warned Washington bureaucrats against casually granting exemptions and rubber-stamping foreign products, which disadvantage American workers. Trump emphasized prioritizing American workers, factories, and supply chains more than ever before.
