Yunnan Water Narrows Interim Loss To RMB 656 Million

Yunnan Water (06839) reported an interim loss of RMB 656 million for the six months ended June 30, narrower than a loss of RMB 875 million a year earlier, according to ETNet. The company posted a loss per share of 63.7 fen and did not declare an interim dividend. Revenue fell 8.3% to RMB 1.062 billion. Gross profit dropped 64.5% to RMB 52.654 million, while gross margin was about 5%, down 7.8 percentage points. Administrative expenses declined about 72.6%, and loss before tax narrowed to RMB 746 million.
