CME Group Reports Significant Growth In Cryptocurrency Trading Volume

According to Odaily, the CME Group has released market statistics indicating a substantial increase in the average daily trading volume for 2024. The overall daily trading volume is projected to reach 26.5 million contracts, with cryptocurrency trading experiencing a notable rise of 203%, amounting to approximately 117,000 contracts or $6.8 billion. Specifically, the micro Bitcoin futures are expected to have an average daily trading volume of 48,000 contracts, while micro Ethereum futures are projected at 41,000 contracts. Additionally, Bitcoin futures are anticipated to reach 16,000 contracts daily, and Ethereum futures are expected to average 6,400 contracts per day.
