In a post on the X platform, Buterin emphasized the importance of supporting independent staking. He acknowledged that staking pools are beneficial for those unable to stake independently but argued that the Ethereum Foundation does not face such limitations. With access to more than 32 ETH and a team of skilled node operators, Buterin believes the foundation should practice self-staking. This approach aligns with the idea of using technology firsthand to better understand and address issues in real-time.
