CoinMarketCap's WLFI Circulation Figures Questioned by Analyst

According to BlockBeats, on-chain analyst Ai Yi has observed discrepancies in the WLFI token generation event (TGE) data displayed on CoinMarketCap. The platform shows an initial circulation of 27.3 billion tokens, significantly higher than the previously estimated theoretical circulation of 5 billion tokens. Based on the current contract price of $0.3599, this could result in a potential sell-off pressure of $9.83 billion. Ai Yi explained that CoinMarketCap's algorithm calculates circulation by subtracting tokens allocated to the team, advisors, partners, and lockbox from the total supply, effectively including all strategic round tokens in circulation. This method is suspected to be inaccurate. As of now, CoinMarketCap has not responded to these concerns.
