ZKsync Unveils 2026 Roadmap with Focus on Privacy and Integration

According to Foresight News, ZKsync has announced its roadmap for 2026, highlighting advancements in privacy chain infrastructure and integration. The roadmap includes Prividium, which aims to evolve from a privacy engine to bank-grade infrastructure, emphasizing enterprise-level encryption technology with privacy as a default cornerstone. It also focuses on direct integration with enterprise systems and workflows, enabling the deployment of privacy applications akin to standard enterprise infrastructure. The ZK Stack is set to transition from independent chains to a collaborative system, with application chains becoming central components of the stack. This will allow applications to operate seamlessly between public and private ZK chains, integrating liquidity and shared infrastructure natively without the need for cross-chain operations. Furthermore, the open-source RISC-V proof system, Airbender, is designed to advance from a high-speed zkVM to a universal standard. It aims to evolve from pure speed to prioritize trust, usability, security, formal rigor, and top-tier developer experience. Airbender will serve ZKsync, Ethereum, and applications beyond the crypto sector.
