▌U.S. SEC sues Justin Sun and three affiliated companies for illegal sale of cryptocurrency securities
According to U.S. court documents, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally sued Justin Sun, the founder of TRON and a member of Huobi’s Global Advisory Council, for allegedly illegally selling securities, defrauding and manipulating the market. It is reported that the SEC stated in a press release that it is suing Justin Sun, the Tron Foundation, the BitTorrent Foundation, and BitTorrent (now known as Rainberry) for selling tronix (TRX) and BitTorrent (BTT) Token, describing it as an unregistered encrypted currency, and further accused Justin Sun of fraudulently manipulating TRX's secondary market.
▌The U.S. SEC issued a Wells notice to Coinbase, saying it may violate securities laws
Coinbase stated that it has received a "Wells Notice" from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Coinbase said the Wells notice did not provide a lot of information. SEC staff said only that they had identified potential violations of securities laws. Coinbase asked the SEC to indicate which assets listed on its platform may be securities, but the SEC refused.

▌EU Banking Authority Recruits Encrypted Asset Supervisors to Fulfill Duties Under EU MiCA
According to the documents of the European Banking Authority (EBA), the EBA is recruiting encrypted asset supervisors in preparation for fulfilling the responsibilities of the EU's upcoming Encrypted Assets Market Supervision (MiCA). The document states that it is looking for a person with "good knowledge of cryptoasset products and services" and several years of experience in supervising financial institutions to carry out this role, which is "preparatory work for the establishment of a supervisory function" under the MiCA.

Telegram users can now send USDT to each other in the chat. USDT has been added to Telegram's @wallet bot, expanding the messaging app's ability to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.

▌MetaMask institutional wallet launched a new version of the pledge market
ConsenSys stated that its MetaMask institutional wallet has opened a new version of the pledge market, and companies and investment banks can choose different pledge services. The new marketplace will feature ConsenSys Staking technology, as well as products from Allnodes, Blockdaemon, and Kiln. The new version of the staking marketplace introduces standardization of terms and conditions, and rates will be easier to view and compare.
