According to crypto analyst EmberCN, an ancient whale that accumulated 5,000 BTC 12 years ago sold another 500 BTC nine hours ago, for approximately $47.77 million. Monitoring shows that this address established its position of 5,000 BTC in November 2013 at approximately $332 per BTC and began selling off its holdings starting in November 2024. Currently, approximately 2,500 BTC (worth about $261 million) have been transferred to Binance at an average price of about $104,632 per BTC, resulting in a cumulative profit of approximately $260 million. As of now, this whale address still holds approximately 2,500 BTC, valued at approximately $237 million at current prices.
