Cybersecurity engineer Li Dong has been prosecuted by the Changge City Procuratorate in Henan Province for allegedly exploiting program vulnerabilities to steal the personal information of over 1.84 million Chinese citizens from the overseas gambling website "Kaiyun Sports," and using technical means to steal agent commissions totaling over 35.5 million yuan. He is accused of theft and infringement of citizens' personal information. Previously, police in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, and Changge, Henan Province, had filed cases against Li Dong for allegedly operating a gambling den. Zhangjiajie police seized 103 bitcoins from him, which were converted into over 49.61 million yuan. Henan police seized 80 bitcoins from him, with a market value exceeding 40 million yuan.
