Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) announced the launch of the Polymarket Signals and Sentiment Tool, providing predictive market data and analytics. ICE will be the exclusive provider of this data in institutional capital markets. Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market, with markets related to or adjacent to financial and commodity markets. ICE now offers a standardized data stream, enabling professional and institutional traders to use crowdsourced probability assessments as market signals to supplement traditional market, pricing, and sentiment inputs. Chris Edmonds, President of Fixed Income and Data Services at ICE, stated that the company leverages its AI and data science expertise to standardize data, helping clients transform market information into signals that can be used to develop alpha-generating strategies and manage risk. Shayne Coplan, Founder and CEO of Polymarket, stated that prediction markets reflect near-real-time collective expectations of market-driving events and have become a reliable source of information beyond traditional data sources. The service is delivered through ICE's existing data infrastructure, with near-real-time access via the ICE Consolidated Feed and historical time-series data provided through the ICE Consolidated History. The tool also maps Polymarket signals to specific securities or companies. This data is part of ICE's newly launched Signals & Sentiments service, which also includes data from Reddit and Dow Jones.
