The Polkadot parachain Acala responded to the issue of abnormal issuance of aUSD, saying that the problem has been confirmed to be a misconfiguration of the iBTC/aUSD liquidity pool, and the vulnerability has been fixed. In addition, 99% of the aUSD issued due to the vulnerability remained on Acala, and a small part was traded for ACA and other tokens. At present, functions such as transactions between aUSD and other native assets of Acala, and cross-chain transfers have been disabled. Acala stated that users who hope to receive wrongly issued tokens can transfer the additionally issued aUSD and traded tokens to the specified address, and will continue to On-chain activity tracking and governance voting to determine resolution.
