Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed hope for substantial progress in the upcoming trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia in Geneva, Switzerland this week. According to RTHK, Zelensky highlighted concerns over the demands for concessions from Ukraine during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of serious and meaningful negotiations that would benefit all parties involved. He accused Moscow of attempting to delay the negotiation process by changing its chief negotiator.
The Ukrainian leader acknowledged feeling pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump, noting that the issue of concessions is frequently raised by the American side. Zelensky expressed a desire to hear what compromises Moscow is willing to make, as Ukraine has already made significant concessions.
