In an interview with Decrypt, Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine, stated that the market is likely nearing its bottom, with current market sentiment extremely poor and price action weak. Tom Demar, an analyst at Fundstrat, has been predicting a BTC drop to $60,000 since November of last year. He initially believed ETH's bottom would be around $2400, but if that failed, it would bottom out around $1890. He believes one more dip is all it takes to reach the absolute bottom, indicating the decline is nearing its end. Previously, Fundstrat's 2026 cryptocurrency strategy advice for internal clients indicated a significant market correction in the first half of the year, with target prices for BTC at $60,000 to $65,000; ETH at $1800 to $2000; and SOL at $50 to $75. However, Tom Lee himself has consistently claimed that BTC and ETH will reach new highs in January 2026.
