StarkWare Integrates Nightfall for Confidential Blockchain Transactions

StarkWare is integrating Nightfall, an open-source zero-knowledge privacy layer developed by one of the Big Four accounting firms, EY, into its Starknet platform. According to BlockBeats, this integration aims to facilitate confidential institutional transactions on public blockchain infrastructure. The initiative enables institutions to conduct private B2B payments, fund operations, and tokenized asset transfers without exposing sensitive transaction details. StarkWare highlights that Nightfall supports transaction privacy by default while allowing for selective disclosure and compliance requirements, such as Know Your Customer (KYC), to meet the needs of institutional users.
