Fire at Japanese Temple Claims Five Lives

A fire broke out at a temple in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. According to Jin10, the local fire department received a report of the fire at approximately 2:30 a.m. local time on February 20. The blaze was extinguished about three hours later, having destroyed three buildings, including the main hall and residential quarters. Five bodies were discovered at the scene.
