Iran is reportedly seeking to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States following recent disruptions caused by U.S. and Israeli actions. According to Jin10, citing The Wall Street Journal, Iranian security official Larijani is spearheading efforts to re-engage with Washington through an Omani mediator. This development comes after the death of Iran's leader, Khamenei, on Saturday, which has elevated Larijani's status as the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. During ongoing conflicts with Israel and the U.S., Larijani has been overseeing Iran's security and military affairs, as well as Tehran's efforts to find a resolution to the hostilities. However, he is not part of the three-member governing council established following Khamenei's death.
