The Trump administration is in discussions with a major insurance brokerage firm to facilitate the passage of ships through the Hormuz Strait. According to Jin10, Marsh Risk Group's team met with government officials on Tuesday, expressing willingness to assist in establishing an insurance mechanism to reduce shipping risks and make vessel insurance more affordable. Marcus Baker, the company's global head of marine business, noted that energy prices have surged and oil transport has stalled since Iran's warning of potential attacks on ships in this strategic waterway. Baker stated, "We have proposed several suggestions on measures they can take, which will be carefully considered."
