Binance has announced another victory in a lawsuit related to the U.S. Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). A U.S. federal court in Alabama recently dismissed all charges against Binance, finding the plaintiffs' lawsuit flawed both legally and factually, and deeming the complaint "shotgun pleading" for failing to clearly distinguish the specific responsibilities of each defendant. The court allowed the plaintiffs to file a revised complaint by April 10, 2026, otherwise the case will be completely dismissed. This ruling follows a previous ruling by the Southern District of New York federal court, in which 535 plaintiffs accused Binance of supporting 64 terrorist attacks, but the court ultimately found the plaintiffs failed to prove the core allegations. Binance stated that both rulings demonstrate the lack of factual and legal basis for the allegations and emphasized that the company will continue to strengthen its compliance system and actively respond to unfounded lawsuits.
