Goldman Sachs Predicts Extended Disruption in Strait of Hormuz

Jim Bianco, president of Bianco Research posted on X, highlighted Goldman Sachs Research's timeline on the Strait of Hormuz. On March 4, they predicted a 5-day recovery, later extending it to 10 days on March 9, and then to 21 days on March 11, with a 30-day gradual recovery. Bianco noted that both he and Goldman Sachs initially assumed the US Military had a plan to reopen the Strait. However, by March 11, it became clear that the plan was either incorrect or absent, leading to ongoing struggles. The situation has shifted from a conflict with Iran to a focus on reopening the Strait.
