Iran has organized transportation to bring approximately 180 Iranian sailors back from India, according to informed sources. Most of these sailors will fly back from the southern Indian city of Kochi. According to Jin10, Iran is also repatriating the bodies of sailors who perished after their vessel was sunk by a U.S. submarine off the coast of Sri Lanka. The incident, which occurred a week ago, has escalated the Middle Eastern conflict, bringing it closer to the Indian region. Sri Lankan officials reported that out of approximately 130 crew members on the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena, around 32 were rescued and hospitalized, while dozens remain missing. Meanwhile, India is negotiating with Iran to ensure the safe passage of its vessels.
