Gulf Airlines See Slow Recovery Amid Regional Tensions

Etihad Airways recorded its highest number of flights since the onset of the Iran conflict three weeks ago, signaling a gradual recovery in Gulf air travel. According to Jin10, data from Flightradar24 shows that the Abu Dhabi-based airline operated 164 flights on Friday, nearly tripling the previous week's count. Dubai-based Emirates also saw an increase, with 168 flights, marking the second-highest number since the conflict began. Qatar Airways increased its flights from 100 on Thursday to 111. However, the recovery in air travel remains uneven, as local airports have faced drone or missile attacks, leading to frequent cancellations or rerouting of flights.
