U.S. Strategy Targets Money Laundering via Nasdaq

The U.S. has reportedly devised a strategy to counter money laundering activities linked to the Nasdaq market. According to Ming Pao, fraudulent groups in northern Myanmar have been using the Nasdaq to launder illicit funds. In response, the U.S. has implemented measures to first attract these illicit funds globally and then seize them, effectively turning the tables on the perpetrators. This approach is seen as a direct counteraction to the money laundering schemes, aiming to confiscate the illegal assets involved.
