South Korea Urges Dialogue Amid North Korea's Hostile Stance

South Korea's presidential office, the Blue House, has expressed concern over North Korea's recent characterization of South Korea as its "most hostile nation." According to Jin10, the Blue House stated on March 24 that the use of antagonistic language is detrimental to peace on the Korean Peninsula. The South Korean government emphasized that stability and prosperity on the peninsula can only be achieved through dialogue and cooperation, rather than hostility and confrontation. The government remains committed to its long-term policy of peaceful coexistence on the Korean Peninsula. On March 23, during the first session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un delivered a policy speech in which he declared South Korea as the most hostile nation. He emphasized that North Korea would "thoroughly reject and ignore" South Korea with the clearest actions and words.
