Iranian official: US mistakes have caused the world to "lose the Strait of Hormuz".

On March 31 local time, Ali Fadavi, deputy commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that the United States' "foolish actions" have caused the world to "lose the Strait of Hormuz." Fadavi said that the United States misjudged the situation, and none of its goals, originally set to be achieved within three to five days, were ultimately accomplished.
