Co-founder Ben Delo stated that he has donated approximately £4 million (about $5.1 million) to Reform UK since the beginning of this year to support the party's development into a "real alternative to governance." Delo did not disclose the form of the donation (fiat currency or crypto assets), but he also expressed support for the UK government's proposed moratorium on crypto-asset political donations, citing the high complexity of related regulations. According to the latest guidance from the UK Electoral Commission, crypto-asset donations are currently still permitted, but must be valued in pounds at the time of receipt and the donor's identity must be verified. The UK government had previously announced an immediate suspension of cryptocurrency political donations as part of its efforts to prevent foreign interference. Furthermore, in December 2025, another crypto-related investor, Christopher Harborne, also donated approximately £9 million to Reform UK. (CoinDesk)
