On-chain data shows that Kelp DAO's LayerZero-based rsETH bridging protocol was suspected of being exploited by hackers, resulting in the loss of 116,500 rsETH, worth approximately $292 million. Kelp DAO officials stated that they have discovered suspicious cross-chain activity involving rsETH, and have suspended rsETH contracts on the mainnet and multiple Layer 2 platforms. They are currently working with security experts and will provide updates as they become available.
