FTX’s new CEO, John J. Ray III, said he is studying the possibility of reviving the bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange as he works to return funds to the bankrupt company’s customers and creditors, The Wall Street Journal reported. Ray said in a public interview for the first time that a working group has been formed to explore restarting FTX.com, the company’s main international exchange. John J. Ray III said, “While FTX’s executives have been accused of criminal misconduct, some clients appreciate its technology and there is value in restarting the platform.”
