Brooks Cutright, portfolio manager at Hedgeye Asset Management, said investors are trying hard to outfox the S&P 500 on Bloomberg ETF IQ, according to Bloomberg. Index-tracking funds have nearly $27 trillion tied to the benchmark. This Friday, the S&P 500 is set to announce additions and deletions as part of a rebalancing, with 36 companies qualifying for entry and more than 110 current members no longer meeting the index's market-cap hurdle.
