Deep Intelligent Rises 18.65% to a Record High After Interim Results

Deep Intelligent (2723.HK) closed at HK$935.5 on August 31, up 18.65% for the day and a new high since its listing, lifting its market value to about HK$84.83 billion. Jiemian News reported that the move followed the company’s interim results, which showed first-half revenue of 398 million yuan, up 43.6% year on year; net profit of 8.195 million yuan, up 125.2%; and adjusted net profit of 17.462 million yuan, up 30.6%. Operating profit rose 402.2% as sales expenses increased 9.9% and administrative expenses were broadly flat. The company said signed orders for its new intelligent-agent products rose more than 300% year on year in the period, and about 30% of new customers bought multiple agents, with some deploying more than 10 products at once. Jiemian News also noted that China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on August 31 launching a special campaign to cultivate AI application service providers, aiming to build a national resource pool of more than 2,000 providers by the end of 2026 and at least 3,000 by the end of 2027. The notice calls for opening real application scenarios, encouraging modular and standardized solutions, and supporting procurement of large-model, agent and token-based services through measures such as first-purchase adoption and risk compensation.
