Binance to Adjust Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin Collateral Ratios for 11 Assets

According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will update the Cross Margin Borrow and Transfer-out collateral ratio, the Portfolio Margin collateral ratio, and the Tiered Collateral Ratio for Portfolio Margin Pro for several assets from 2026-09-04 06:00 (UTC). The update is expected to be completed within approximately 30 minutes. Under the Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin changes, ZEC will move from 50% to 70%, while AIXBT, RARE, KSM, CATI, RED, FLUX, PIXEL, RONIN, SAGA, and BICO will each move from 30% to 10%. SYRUP will change from 10% to 30%. Binance said the Cross Margin Borrow and Transfer-out collateral ratio update will only affect the amount that can be borrowed or transferred out under Cross Margin. It also noted that collateral ratio and leverage changes will affect the Unified Maintenance Margin Ratio under Portfolio Margin, and users should monitor uniMMR closely to avoid potential liquidation or losses that may result from the change in collateral ratio and leverage. For Portfolio Margin Pro, Binance said SYRUP will also see tiered collateral ratio changes. The first tier will move from Rank Floor 100 and Cap 50,000 with a 100% collateral ratio to Rank Floor 90 and Cap 100,000 with a 50% collateral ratio. The next tier will change from Rank Floor 50,000 and Cap 100,000 with an 80% collateral ratio to Rank Floor 100,000 and Cap 250,000 with an 80% collateral ratio. Another tier will shift from Rank Floor 100,000 and Cap 250,000 with a 50% collateral ratio to Rank Floor 200,000 and Cap 400,000 with a 20% collateral ratio. The final tier will move from Rank Floor 250,000 and Cap 500,000 with a 50% collateral ratio to Rank Floor 400,000 and Cap 99,999,999,999 with a 10% collateral ratio. Binance said the last tier will remain at N/A for the rank floor and cap structure shown in the announcement.
