Russian President Vladimir Putin said the negotiation process on the Ukraine issue is currently frozen. According to Sina Finance, he made the remarks at a press conference in Kyrgyzstan on the early morning of September 2, before concluding his visit to the country.
Putin said any talks should have substantive content. He also said U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Witkoff and son-in-law Kushner are always welcome in Russia and that Moscow is willing to work with them. Putin added that Russian forces have been instructed to prepare large-scale strikes on Ukraine's energy facilities, and said, "They strike our factories, and they will get a response."
