Microsoft-Backed G42 Explores Multi-Billion-Dollar Fundraising

Microsoft-backed AI company G42 has held early talks with potential investors about raising several billion dollars, according to Bloomberg. According to ChainCatcher, the discussions are still exploratory, and the size and structure of any deal have not been finalized. People familiar with the matter said G42 could become one of the first UAE government-linked AI companies to expand its capital base through outside financing. The company has previously worked with Microsoft and OpenAI on a data center project in Abu Dhabi and has received support from Microsoft and other companies.
